In June 2010, Bayer withdrew their application in Brazil to plant genetically engineered (GE) rice. It took 8 years for Bayer to finally understand that Brazilian farmers don't want GE rice in their fields. I’ve been watching Greenpeace videos on YouTube and I stumbled on a clip of GP campaigners talking about vegetarianism and its relation to climate change. I attended the  NMC 1st World Youth Meeting for a Sustainable Future as a representative for Solar Generation. The meeting was held in Bari, Italy on January 19-21, 2010. Reading about the end of the climate talks at Copenhagen, I was extremely disappointed with the results.  What should have been the chance to cement a good deal for all, was turned into a public display of political spins & self-serving stubbornness.
